COVID-19 Updates

11/23/2020: Members and Employees follow the city’s ordinance and are wearing face coverings in our lobbies.

  • The mask mandate UCFCU follows will remain effective until the next review date of Feb. 28, 2021.
  • Our management team is constantly reviewing our in-person, lobby traffic, our call volume and our drive-thru transactions to ensure our Members and Staff are receiving excellent service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Lobby and Drive-thru sanitizing protocol remains intact to disinfect items you may be in contact with.
  • Lending is being handled online or via the phone @ 405.743.3328. Please call if you have questions.
  • COVID-19 has presented all of our Members challenges, please reach out to us if we can answer your questions or if you have concerns.

10/01/2020: Members and Employees follow the city’s ordinance and are wearing face coverings in our lobbies.

  • Effective Oct. 1st, 2020 – UCFCU’s hours of operations will change to:
    • Main Branch – Lobby 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F
      Drive-Thru 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, M-F and 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, Sat.
    • Student Union – Lobby 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F
  • Face-to-face meetings with our lending staff is still limited, due to 6′ distancing requirements. Loan requests and servicing questions are being quickly handled via the phone and online.
  • Our Member Contact Center has added some full-time staff to help eliminate COVID caused longer wait times. The option to leave a message for lending and Member Services are also available, leave your name and phone #.
  • Thanks for your continued patience during the pandemic!

08/10/2020: Members and Employees continue to follow the city’s ordinance and are wearing face coverings in our lobbies for everyone’s protection.

  • The UCFCU OSU Student Union Branch opens today, 8.10.2020 and will have lobby hours of:  9 am – 4 pm, M-F.
  • The Main Branch is operating under the hours posted on this page, dated July 11th.
  • Phone lines at 405.743.3328 have been extremely busy. Leaving a message for Members Services or Lending is an option you can utilize. An associate will call you back as soon as possible.

07/11/2020: UCFCU will follow the City of Stillwater’s (OK) Ordinance 3452 regarding required face coverings, which will be in effect thru 11.30.2020.

UCFCU Members and Visitors will:

  • Wear face covering when entering our lobbies.
  • Not enter the lobbies if they are sick or have a fever.
  • Be asked to wear a face covering and may be asked to leave if they refuse to follow the City Orders.
  • Enforce the 6 feet of Social Distancing while in UCFCU lobbies.
  • Contact a Manager should they have any medical issues related to mask wearing or need further clarification on UCFCU’s actions.

OSU Student Union Branch:  054 Student Union-OSU Campus, office is still closed, but expected to open soon!

06/15/2020: Thank you Members for your patience as we work through this pandemic together. Please continue to wear your face covering while in the lobby to protect yourself and our employees.

Online applications are being processed as quickly as possible, so continue to use the electronic channels we have in place: Online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit and online new account or loan applications.

Our hours remains the same as posted on 5.27.2020 below. Stay safe and healthy!

05/27/2020: New temporary lobby hours begin for teller transactions only.

  • Drive-thru Remains the recommended channel to handle your deposit transactions and lending needs.
  • Revised Lobby Hours of 9 am – 4 pm, M – F begin 5.27.2020 to present day
    • Vulnerable or at-Risk Members 9:00 am – 10:00 am, M-F
    • 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, M-F for teller transactions only
      (For now, Lending applications should be completed online or by phone. Lending offices currently do not have a 6′ distancing option.)
  • UCFCU continues to follow the City of Stillwater’s orders and guidances.
    • Please wear a face mask

05/01/2020: Lobby hours set for teller transactions as Stillwater takes a phased approach to business re-openings

  • Drive-thru Still the recommended and safest way at this time to handle your deposit transactions and lending needs.
  • Limited Lobby hours for this phase were: Monday, May 4th through May 27th
    (temp lobby hours for teller transactions changed on 5.27.2020 – see above)

    • Vulnerable or at-Risk Members 9:30 am – 10:30 am, M-F
    • 10:30 am – 1:30 pm, M-F for other members needing to conduct teller transactions
      (Lending needs continue to be handled via our website or by phone. Lending offices are small and do not have a 6′ distancing option.)
  • UCFCU follows the City of Stillwater’s orders and guidance on keeping our Members and Employees safe. They can change frequently, thus our procedures will adapt as needed.
    • Members will be encouraged to wear face masks
    • Members cannot enter the lobby if they are sick, have a fever or refuse to follow updated City Orders.
    • We continue to enforce 6 feet of Social Distancing while in our lobby. Follow the signs and X’s inside.

04/20/2020: Drive Thru and Call In Peak Times

  • Drive-thru usage has increased due to our lobby being temporarily closed. In a hurry? You may want to avoid the peak usage times which typically occur at midday (11:3o am – 1 pm) and then again at the end of the day (4 pm – 5 pm).  Our Member Services team is handling drive-thru transactions as quickly as possible, all while disinfecting tubes and pens between transactions.
  • Calls. Members may experience longer than normal hold times when calling during peak times with our lobbies closed. If you are not able to wait on hold, please leave a message and a Member Services Representative will call you back. 04/15/2020: Payment Status

04/03/2020: Update

  • UCFCU lobbies will remain closed until April 30th due to the Oklahoma and Federal Administration’s extension of social distancing practice and non-essential business closing requirements. The UCFCU Drive-thru is open and ATMs are operational. Lending applications are being taken online and all online financial services: online banking, mobile banking and mobile deposit are available for members. Call 405.743.3328 if you need assistance or need to set an appointment.

03/23/2020: Update

03/20/2020: Update

  •  Effective Monday March 23rd through May 4th, Lobbies will be closed except for appointments. Drive through will operate from 8am-6pm Monday – Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturday.

03/16/2020: Due to the threat of the novel coronavirus and COVID-19, UCFCU has already been taking steps to ensure member and employee safety.

  • Enhanced cleaning procedures are performed routinely including but not limited to:
    • Disinfecting stations after use
    • Disinfecting drive through tube equipment/pens
    • Suspending self-serve coffee and treats.
    • Postponing events or meetings
    • Rescheduling community financial education classes
    • Cleaning and disinfecting ATMs
    • Nightly disinfecting of the building

For critical changes, during this unique situation, we will be sending email communications to email addresses on file. If you did not receive an email from us on 3.16 or 3.20 it would be a good time to check to make sure we have a valid email address. If you previously unsubscribed from receiving emails you will not be sent email notifications and  you will find credit union information on Facebook posts or Twitter feeds. The website will host a COVID-19 Update Page.

YES! UCFCU offers co-op shared branching, normal transactions through our drive-up lanes at 311 E. McElroy, Stillwater OK. Visit the shared branching website, should you need to find other locations to access your accounts:  www.co-opsharedbranch.org

YES! During this time when the State of Emergency is in place, we will accept Cash Advance requests through our Drive-thru.

With our lobbies closing to public traffic on March 23rd, you may open your account online at cuintouch.com by using our account application or call us at 405.743.3328. Loan applications for cars,  and personal needs are available online.  Members can apply for a Credit Card online or even begin the Home Loan Process at cuintouch.com You should call us for an appointment before coming to the branch. We can let you know your options.

Yes! UCFCU is a federally insured National Credit Union Administration member. The standard share insurance amount is $250,000 per share owner, per insured credit union. We do not foresee having to completely shut our drive-thru lanes down. If we are required to close our branches, we will do all we can to continue to serve our Members remotely. We are currently working on a plan that could include expanded call center or drive-thru services. We will also continue to offer our online and mobile services regardless of being able to have our lobbies/drive-thrus open. Our Management Team meets daily to evaluate the pandemic situation to try to ensure all Members needs are met.
